Even at the top of the Central India rankings, Shrey trains under coaches on every stop of the circuit — from Discovery Bay in Hong Kong to courts back home. Every rep is one more step toward a World Championship.
An engineering degree, a TEDx talk, a season of Formula 4 racing, an internship in Poland, and a media company built from scratch.
Long before pickleball, Shrey grew up on a basketball court — playing through school and on to the university level, representing NIT Raipur. At home, the racquet-sport instinct came from his father, an international handball player, who first introduced him to pickleball. Growing up, Shrey competed in national handball tournaments alongside basketball, while skating, ice skating and horse riding rounded out a restless, multi-sport childhood. All of it built the athlete now chasing one goal: a Pickleball World Championship.
Shrey holds a B.Tech from the National Institute of Technology, Raipur, and finished school at Delhi Public School, Bhilai. He's spoken on the TEDx stage at TEDxPandri, interned internationally with AIESEC's Global Entrepreneur Program in Warsaw, Poland, and raced competitively in Formula 4 before turning to pickleball full-time.
Beyond competing, Shrey co-founded and runs Pickleball Official as Chief Operating Officer — one of the largest pickleball media houses across Asia and Europe. The business reaches over 2 million accounts every month and is run by a full team of roughly 30 people producing content, covering events and building the sport's audience across India, Europe, Vietnam and the wider Asian region.
That means a brand partnership with Shrey isn't limited to one athlete's feed — it comes with a direct line into one of the sport's most active media operations.

Shrey ran regular player clinics across ~2 years and hosted 2 full professional-level tournaments for the brand — including one flagship event that was a major undertaking in its own right. At events like the PWR DUPR India Masters, the English Open 2024 and 2025, and most tournaments since, he's worn Maxwill as its on-ground ambassador: banner duty, kit hand-offs, and networking with organisers, media and fellow athletes on the brand's behalf.
Hudle, the court-booking platform, is a supporting partner for whom Shrey runs paid public bootcamps — branded entirely around the sponsor, from the event page to the on-court coaching.
